Selling our loved 2016 Scarab 195 HO Platinum Edition open bow ski boat
We really love this boat to death but due to changing life situations, we can’t use it at all. This boat is truly a blast to drive, ski behind, beach, park, trailer, everything. It has the Supercharged and Intercooled Rotax 1.5L engine that puts out 250 HP. Our friends all have 21’ or 23’ boats with 350’s or 454’s and we can run with them all day and use less than 1/2 the fuel. They were very surprised how well this boat performs. It handles like a dream, cuts etc like a jet ski and rides like a much bigger boat. It accelerates to 30mph in 5-6 seconds as it comes right out of the hole but is never really in the hole like an outboard. There is now lower unit or prop to keep lower and raising. Don’t have to worry about maintenance on the lower unit or taking the prop and lower unit out on a rouge log. It can run in like 12” of water. It has way more control at low speeds and parking than any prop boat by far. Never looses steering like a jet ski. Also, you don’t have to worry about a prop with kids swimming, pulling skiers, rapping up toe ropes, people getting cut on prop etc.
We are selling it full equipped with covers, Bimini top, snap in/out carpet, bumpers, ropes, anchors, life jackets etc. This boat is just fantastic and always gets tons of looks, stares and question everywhere we take it. It is in excellent shape with only 100 hours. It only has the usual minor scuffs and scrapes from normal use. It does not need major servicing for at least 200 hours. It has an enclosed cooling system like a car so that the motor is protected/cooled by clean anti/freeze not dirty river water. It has a battery with a switch to kill the power for storage. It is loaded with lots of extras and goodies. Selling it for a great price. So, make us a reasonable offer and it can go home with you. It needs nothing but a new owner. This boat will truly be missed. First time I have ever said that about any boat and meant it. Please look up the options and reviews. This is also a pretty rare boat in this model/color combo.
