1989 MacGregor 26d with 2012 Suzuki 9.9 h.p. EFI 4 Stroke with Electric Start and Power Trim. 1-6 gallon fuel tank and 1-3 gallon with a fuel gauge. We have never used all the fuel from both tanks in a season so the engine has light run time on it. This boat sails extremely well and will point to almost 30 degrees into the wind. We never ran the engines any more than needed as we have prided ourselves in being able to leave and return to the marina under sail power whenever possible. This is a trailerable sailboat with the water ballast system. The dagger-board and the rudder both will raise and this will float in 22″ of water the way we are loaded now. It will float in 15″ of water with the ballast pumped out. We never cared much for racing but always love going out for anywhere from 4-10 days and not seeing many people. This is on a MacGregor trailer with an entirely new braking system from the actuator hitch to the shoes and everything in between including new brake lines that are being installed this week. I also just replaced the wheel bearings and installed brand new bearing buddies. This trailer also has a brand new 2 speed winch to make loading this boat a snap and 2 new tires with under 100 miles on them. The boat empty weighs only 1600 lbs so towing is very easy.
